Been a really long while since i last went to the gym.

I guess it's really the Mindef internship, kinda inspired me to work really hard to train up.

Really pumped out, tired and feel like sleeping. But there are still tons of homework waiting for me.

+

There is still monster hunts to do.

:D

Games > life> homework

I should start getting stuff for christmas before the prices start hiking. Remember ur econs dudes? Demand shock in just another week, i can see the future.

A video me and my team made for the YDSP animation competition. We dint win the competition, but still i'm very proud of our work.

Here's the clip we spent the last 4 days making. Mind you, it was damn tiring and tedious. And we know nuts about animation making...

But i guess the 40 bucks MPH voucher kinda make up for the not winning. It's not about winning anyway (:

I've promised to blog today so even though i'm damn tired right now, i'll just post something about the past few days.

It's 8.29pm now and i'm still busy planning the storyline of this animation that we've to finish by friday. The duration of the clip MUST be around 60-90 secs. And for your information, most commercials on TV, they're only around 30 secs. So i'm really squeezing my brain juices down here.

Okay I'm very tired now, physically and mentally too.

Reason..
Just a few days after i came back from China Yunnan (how i wish i'm back there), I left on this overnight internship programme at MINDEF or rather, at the Singapore Armed Forces Officer Cadet school. A pretty enriching and enjoyable experience i would say.
It was the first time i launched real live grenades from a grenade launcher and the whole bunch of us pretty much flattened a hill (ROFL). The grenades din't kill me but the recoil+sound could have. I've fired live rounds from a semi-automatic machine gun too and a sniper rifle. Was definitely a, how should i put it, a thrilling experience. I'm talking about real guns not water guns that u find at the neighbourhood swimming pool.

More about MIP...

People i've met --> lots of high ranking officers + the 4 highest ranking individuals in the SAF. The Chiefs of Navy/Airforce/Army and Defence. No kidding. Very impressive characters really. And really finally understood what loving my nation really is. A feeling i can't put to words, and that's why i won't.

More about MIP...

Food --> Good stuff, exactly what my brother promised me. I remember having LOTS of teabreaks with great food. Roti Prata and pastas for breakfasts. Chocolate buns/muffins for snacks. Especially the food for the navy, it rocks. Well they did explain the reason why.. Apparently, the chefs for the RSSs are all trained professionals (smart) because for the navy crew, when they have to spend a long period of time onboard the ship for exercises/trainings, food and sleep may be the only thing they can look forward to that's why good food serves to be a good morale booster. Never knew huh?
Drinks --> Abit too bland, but i won't complain.

It was a pity we missed the cheenok ride and the Black Hawks' aerial display. But getting to see all the aircrafts (static display) was amazing enough. The F-16s and the fighter helicopters are my personal favourites.

Eh enough about MIP. I'll now talk about YDSP camp.

It started on 10th december, which is yesterday, and we went to DSO for a tour around the labs. Saw a few DSTA stuff that i saw in the army, such as the 3rd generation army stuff and IKC2.

It's a 5 day event, and even though it's a camp it's not a overnight camp. Which means i still get home and interact with the world. At least i thought so. Until i started getting busy with all the animation @#$@#$ that i have to do because we're taking part in this competition and we will have to present our end product to a panel of judges THIS FRIDAY. Horrors..

FURTHEMORE, I have yet to touch my homework. The whole pile of homework #$%!@ that i have to do, waiting for me...

Sucks

I thought it's december holidays now
